If you have thought about reducing your period waste these menstrual pads are for you. An average woman uses around 12 000 disposable pads or tampons throughout her life. So depending on the price of the products she uses up to thousands of dollars in disposable period products. By using at least partially reusable period pads you can reduce your impact on nature and save money at the same time.
Recommended amount of pads if you are using only pads is about 1-3 pads for heavy flow (XL and L) 6-12 pads for medium flow (M & S) and 2-4 for light flow (pantyliners or S). Of course, if you are using cloth pads with something else you need less of them. The starter pack includes about the minimum you need for your whole period cycle.
Menstrual pads are made of light breathable PUL, cotton and bamboo blend and cotton. Materials are all designed for the best user experience.
Materials are produced in Finland. Materials are high quality so these pads last for a long time. A wet bag is included in the starter set and can also be selected individually. The wet bag is a must-have in your purse so you can place the used ones in the wet bag without fear of leaking into your purse. Beautiful deer print in pads and in the wet bag gives them a little zing. The black lining helps to keep the pads looking fresh.
Different size pads are designed for different flows. This is an approximate guide: Pantyliner is a good pantyliner or for light flow. S & M are for medium flow. L & XL are for heavier flow and for the night. XL is also good as a postpartum pad.
These period pads can be washed in a washing machine and dried in a dryer. It’s recommended to wash in 30-40 degrees, cold water. Coldwater washes blood better than hot.
Sanitary pads are closed with snaps
All pads are hand-made in Finland and pattern placements vary in every pad.
